EJ Interview Summary (February 2017)
A summary of findings from the Environmental Justice Interviews for the Rose Quarter: Interstate 5/Broadway-Weidler Project. ODOT staff conducted initial interviews with members of the African American community to gain a better understanding of the project area’s history and how to meaningfully engage communities of color and low-income populations (populations that were disproportionately impacted with prior Rose Quarter area developments).
Project Review Workshop Final Report (Spring 2018)
A summary of a two-day workshop with industry contractors and key technical Agency staff to provide input on construction staging/phasing, provide feedback on construction schedule durations and logic, and review and define project risks.
Discussion Group Summaries
The project team uses discussion groups as one of many important tools to capture feedback on the project. We meet people where they are and engage in meaningful two-way dialogues to understand how different people from different backgrounds react to the project and potential design considerations.

- What’s Happening in Our Streets (June 2018) – A summary of a transportation open house for the Black community to help inform ODOT and the Portland Bureau of Transportation about transportation investments in the N/NE Portland neighborhoods.
